Health Depot is building a Personal & Family Health Operating System that brings together health records, diagnostics, pharmacy, wellness, wearable data and AI-driven health intelligence into one continuous health experience.

We’re looking for a hands-on technical co-founder / founding CTO to set the technical direction and build the initial product and platform across architecture, code, infrastructure, security and engineering practices. What you will own:

Architect and build Health Depot’s backend, APIs, data and platform infrastructure.

Design and establish the initial cloud architecture on GCP.

Build systems that are secure, scalable, observable and resilient, with pragmatic early-stage trade-offs.

Own databases, APIs, integrations, authentication, authorization, CI/CD and infrastructure.

Establish engineering standards around code quality, testing, documentation, monitoring and reliability.

Build security into the architecture, including IAM, secrets management, encryption, auditability and vulnerability management.

Design for sensitive health data, privacy, security and regulatory considerations as the product evolves.

Build and integrate AI/LLM capabilities into the product thoughtfully and reliably.

Work across backend, frontend and infrastructure as needed in the early stages.

Help shape and later build the engineering team as the company scales.

What we are looking for (Must Haves):

Strong software engineering and systems architecture fundamentals.

Deep backend experience building and operating production systems and APIs.

Solid cloud and infrastructure experience, preferably GCP.

Experience with databases, distributed systems, CI/CD, observability and DevOps.

Strong security mindset and experience with secure application architecture.

Ability to take ownership from architecture through implementation, deployment and production.

Product thinking and a willingness to engage with what we’re building,



not just how it’s implemented.

Comfort operating in high ambiguity and building from zero.

Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with a non-technical founder.

Experience building consumer products at scale.

AI/LLM, RAG or agentic-system experience.

Healthcare, fintech or other regulated-domain experience.

Experience taking a product from 0 to 1 and scaling it.
