Forex Analyst

About the Role

TerraPay is looking for a proactive and analytical Forex Analyst to join our Treasury team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing foreign exchange trading activities, monitoring currency market movements, optimizing FX margins, supporting liquidity management, and ensuring seamless post-trade processing.

You will work closely with Treasury, Operations, Finance, Banking Partners, and Business teams to deliver competitive pricing, manage risks effectively, and support uninterrupted global payment operations. This role requires flexibility to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment to support global markets and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

FX Trading & Pricing

- Execute FX trades in line with business and liquidity requirements.
- Monitor currency market movements and identify trading opportunities
- Update and maintain FX rates across currencies, corridors, and partners.
- Support deal-based and time-based FX pricing models
- Optimize spreads and profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.

Treasury & Liquidity Management
- Monitor local currency positions and funding requirements
- Coordinate prefunding and liquidity arrangements with banks and partners.Track fund movements to ensure uninterrupted settlement and payout operations.
- Support liquidity optimization and working capital initiatives.

Risk Management
- Monitor FX exposures and support hedging strategies.
- Identify market, operational, and liquidity risks.
- Analyze the impact of economic, political, and regulatory developments on currency markets.
- Recommend mitigation measures to minimize financial and operational risks

Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily FX performance and margin reports.
- Analyze revenue, spreads, corridor profitability,



and pricing effectiveness.
- Track partner-wise and corridor-wise FX performance.
- Deliver actionable market insights and recommendations.

Partner & Banking Relationship Management
- Coordinate with banks, liquidity providers, and payout partners
- Support funding, FX pricing, and credit discussions.
- Assist in onboarding new partners and corridors.
- Resolve funding and settlement-related issues efficiently.

Operational Excellence
- Ensure accurate post-trade processing and reporting.
- Support reconciliation and revenue assurance activities.
- Maintain compliance with treasury policies and internal controls.
- Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- MBA, CFA, FRM, or Treasury certification is an added advantage.
- 1-3 years of experience in FX Trading, Treasury, Payments, Banking, or Financial Markets.
- Solid understanding of FX markets, treasury operations, and liquidity management.
- Exposure to Reuters, Bloomberg, or similar market platforms is preferred.
