Responsibilities

- Carry out fitting, assembly and alignment of structural and mechanical components.

- Read and understand engineering drawings, sketches, and work instructions.

- Perform marking, cutting, drilling, grinding, and finishing operations.

- Assist in fabrication and installation of marine structures, doors, hatches, and assemblies.

- Ensure proper alignment and fitment before welding or final assembly.

- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, etc.).

- Support welders and fabrication teams during production activities.

- Inspect work for accuracy and report defects or deviations.

- Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.

- Maintain tools and equipment in positive working condition.

- Ensure work is completed as per quality standards and timelines.
