- Posting of Journal Entries – Standard, Accruals, Allocations, Amortizations, etc.
- Master Data Management – Creation and Maintenance of Profit Centers, Cost Centers, GL Codes, Bank Account Codes, Exchange Rates, Blocking/Unblocking Masters, etc.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards like IFRS and GAAP.
- Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Trend & Variance Analysis.
- Support month-end/year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
- Work with financial systems and reporting tools for accurate data analysis.
- Handle open items, downloaded items, and conduct various reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
- Transition support and documentation of processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Accounting Expertise: Solid understanding of core accounting principles, journal entry types, GL accounting, amortization techniques, etc.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in variance and trend analysis with a problem-solving mindset.
- Financial Systems Knowledge: Hands-on with tools like Power BI, Advanced Excel, and other analytical/reporting platforms.
- Communication: Robust articulation and ability to explain accounting processes clearly.
