Role: Finance Manager (INNOFarms AI Agritech Pvt. Ltd.)

Location: Sector-23, Gurgaon (on-site)

Timings: 9 AM- 5 PM

Job Type: Full Time

Experience: 3–6 years in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably in a startup, Key Responsibilities:

- Accounting & Financial Operations

· Maintain accurate books of accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

· Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, customer collections, and reconciliations.

· Oversee invoicing hardware sales, SaaS subscriptions, O&M; services, and project-based contracts.

· Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization.

· Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closures with proper documentation.

- MIS & Financial Reporting

· Prepare monthly MIS reports for the Founders and Leadership Team covering:

o Revenue and profitability analysis o Business unit and project-wise performance o Budget vs. Actual analysis o Cash flow and working capital position o Key financial KPIs and operational metrics

· Identify cost overruns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost optimization.

· Develop financial dashboards to provide visibility across Finance, Operations, Sales, Technology, and Agronomy teams.

- Budgeting & Financial Planning

· Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.





· Track departmental and project-wise expenditures against approved budgets.

· Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.

· Establish financial controls, approval matrices, and spending governance.

· Support strategic financial planning, profitability improvement, and resource allocation. 4.

Statutory

Compliance & Taxation

· Ensure timely GST compliance, return filing, reconciliations, and audits.

· Manage TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.

· Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and secretarial compliance with external consultants.

· Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, FEMA and other regulatory requirements.

· Maintain zero compliance defaults and minimize financial risks. 5.

Financial

Strategy & Business Advisory

· Advise the management on:

o Tax-effective business structures and transactions.

o Pricing strategies and commercial models.

o Contract evaluation and financial risk assessment.

o Vendor agreements and payment structures.

· Support fundraising initiatives, investor due diligence, financial modelling, and valuation exercises.

· Prepare financial projections, business plans, investment decks, and board-level financial reports.

- Grants, Government Schemes & Institutional Funding

· Identify and evaluate Central and State Government grants, subsidies, and incentive schemes relevant to AgriTech, AI, Robotics, IoT, Food Processing, and DeepTech.

· Lead end-to-end preparation and submission of grant applications (TDB, NABARD, Ministry of Agriculture, Startup India, DPIIT, MSME, SIDBI, CGTMSE, PMFME, and similar schemes).

· Coordinate with government agencies,



financial institutions, incubators, and consultants throughout the application process.

· Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), financial projections, utilization certificates, and supporting documentation for grant-funded projects.

· Monitor grant utilization, milestone reporting, audit compliance, and fund disbursement requirements.

· Explore debt funding, venture debt, and subsidized financing opportunities to support business expansion. 7.

Internal

Controls & Process Improvement

· Develop and implement finance SOPs and robust internal control frameworks.

· Improve accounting processes through automation and ERP/Tally integration.

· Standardize financial documentation, approval workflows, and reporting practices.

· Strengthen financial governance to support rapid business growth and scalability. 8.

Finance Controller

Responsibilities

· Own the company's complete finance function, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and financial discipline.

· Review monthly financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and management reports.

· Monitor liquidity, working capital, and cash runway.

· Establish and monitor financial KPIs for business performance.

· Drive cost optimization and improve operational efficiency across departments.

· Support strategic decision-making by providing timely financial insights.

· Build scalable finance systems and controls aligned with the company's growth objectives.

Candidate

Profile

· Qualification: CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred.

· Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and statutory compliance.

· Hands-on experience with Tally Prime (mandatory).

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced), financial modelling, MIS reporting, and budgeting.

· Experience in grant funding, government incentive schemes, fundraising support, and audit coordination is highly preferred.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work directly with founders and leadership.
