We are looking to expand our team and are seeking a talented Finance Administrator with a passion for finance and innovation.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance and accounting, with specific knowledge and experience in ConnectWise, Xero, and Australian GST rules. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage complex business finances, including P&L;, budget forecasting, and cash flow statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Manage and maintain financial records using ConnectWise and Xero, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian GST rules.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, budget forecasts, and cash flow statements. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial plans. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial reporting.
- Policy Implementation:
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to budgets. Provide administrative support for financial operations as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Proficient in ConnectWise and Xero software.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian GST rules and regulations.
- Strong understanding of complex business finances, including P&L;, budget forecasting, and cash flow statements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a tech-based consulting firm.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA.
