Role Description This is a full time, on-site Field Officer role based in Burdwan.

The Field

Officer will be responsible for promoting the company’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, building and maintaining strong relationships with medical practitioners, pharmacists, and distributors, and ensuring timely product information and support. Daily activities include planning and conducting field visits, organizing product presentations, monitoring territory performance, and collecting market intelligence on competitor products and customer needs.



The role also involves coordinating with internal teams for supply, marketing materials, and reporting, as well as maintaining accurate records of visits, sales activities, and feedback.

The Field

Officer is expected to represent Cadila Pharmaceuticals professionally and uphold all regulatory, ethical, and compliance standards in the field.

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain professional relationships with healthcare providers and channel partners.

Basic understanding of pharmaceutical products, therapeutic areas, and medical terminology; ability to explain product benefits and usage clearly and accurately.

Proven skills in territory management, planning field activities, and maintaining organized records of visits, sales calls, and follow-ups.

Ability to gather and analyze market and competitor information, and provide clear reports and feedback to internal stakeholders.

Comfort with on-the-ground activities, including regular travel within the assigned territory and working independently to meet targets.

Proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for reporting and documentation; familiarity with digital communication tools is an advantage.

Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably in science, pharmacy, or a related field; prior experience in pharmaceutical field operations or sales is beneficial.

Demonstrated integrity, customer focus, and adherence to regulatory, ethical, and compliance standards in all professional interactions.
