Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning

- Install IoT Gateways, SCADA systems, dataloggers, sensors, networking devices, and related equipment.
- Perform electrical wiring verification and communication cable termination.
- Configure devices and establish communication with field equipment.
- Conduct site testing and commissioning activities.
- Verify successful data transmission to the cloud platform.

Site Survey

- Conduct pre-installation site surveys.
- Verify site readiness.
- Prepare survey reports with photographs.
- Identify installation risks and constraints.

Testing & Troubleshooting

- Diagnose hardware, communication, and networking issues.
- Troubleshoot Modbus RTU/TCP communication problems.
- Configure IP settings and networking equipment.
- Perform functional testing before customer handover.

Customer Interaction

- Coordinate installation schedules with customer representatives.
- Provide basic operational training after commissioning.
- Obtain installation and commissioning sign-offs.
- Maintain professional communication at customer sites.

Documentation

- Prepare:
- Installation reports
- Commissioning reports
- Site survey reports
- Service reports
- Daily work reports
- Customer sign-off documents
- Upload photographs and documentation promptly.

Safety & Compliance

- Follow all site safety rules and permit requirements.
- Use appropriate PPE.
- Maintain company tools and instruments responsibly.

Post-Commissioning Support

- Attend warranty and service visits when required.
- Diagnose field failures.
- Replace defective hardware as approved.
- Coordinate with the Technical Support team for complex issues.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- Electrical wiring and control panel understanding.
- Industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP).
- RS-485 communication and troubleshooting.

- Freshers with robust practical skills and willingness to travel may be considered for trainee positions.

The Site Engineer (Electrical) will be responsible for managing on-site execution,



supporting technical activities, supervising panel assembly, and ensuring timely testing, commissioning, and documentation for smooth project delivery. The role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on site experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with both site and office teams. 1. Site Execution

- Oversee and execute on-site installation, erection, and commissioning activities as per project requirements.
- Ensure all site tasks are completed within defined timelines and quality standards.

2. Site Support

- Provide technical support to the site team.
- Troubleshoot system-related issues and coordinate resolutions with the engineering and office teams.

3. Panel Assembly Supervision

- Supervise and ensure quality panel assembly work as per electrical designs and wiring diagrams.
- Verify that all assembly processes follow company procedures and industry standards.

4. Testing & Commissioning

- Perform electrical and functional testing of panels and systems.
- Ensure successful commissioning and proper handover to the client with all performance checks completed.

5. Documentation

- Prepare and maintain execution files, test reports, checklists, as-built drawings, and client sign-off documents.
- Ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

Preferred candidate profile

- Qualification: Diploma, Btech, ITI in Electrical or Electronics & Electrical Engineering
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, panel assembly, and testing procedures
- Willingness to travel to different project sites as required
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
- Experience in installation, commissioning, or electrical site work preferred
