Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Design Internship role based in Pune Division. The intern will assist in designing and developing apparel concepts for corporate clients, focusing on T-shirts and other branded merchandise that align with client brand guidelines and UCTC’s quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating mockups for logo placement and visual elements, selecting suitable fabrics and trims, and procurement of materials.





The role involves coordinating with production teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective, maintaining design documentation, and helping prepare presentations for client demos. The intern will also contribute to trend research, mood boards, and styling suggestions that enhance the overall appeal of UCTC’s product offerings.

Qualifications

Strong foundational skills in Fashion Design and Fashion Styling, with the ability to translate brand requirements into appealing apparel concepts.

Knowledge of Textiles and Sewing, including basic fabric properties, garment construction, and finishing techniques.

Proficiency in Graphic Design tools for apparel design and logo placement Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.

Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow structured processes in a fast-paced production environment.

Positive communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with design, production, and sales teams.

Understanding of basic sizing, fit, and garment measurements; prior internship or project experience in fashion or apparel customization is an advantage.
