WE ARE HIRING — FIELD MANAGER (Contract, Sept 2026 – Mar 2027)

Sanghar Exports | Farming Portfolio Sanghar Exports grows and exports fresh produce. We run satellite crop monitoring across our own farms. Last season the technology worked and the field team worked — but on average 8–12 days passed between an alert being raised and anyone acting on it, and that gap cost us yield and three quality claims at destination. We are creating one current role to close it.

THE ROLE You are the bridge between three groups: the field team who can act, the remote-sensing team who can see, and management who need to know.

Each week you will

- Push every satellite alert to the named farm supervisor the morning it is raised
- Ensure every alert ends in a logged corrective action within 48 hours — chemical, dose and date recorded
- Run a weekly ground-truthing visit on every farm and reconcile what our scouts measured against what the satellite saw
- Investigate and close every satellite-to-ground disagreement with a named cause
- Escalate anything that does not close, the same day
- Refresh the management dashboard every Friday and review it farm by farm




- Check the harvest maturity and dispatch quality gates before any lot moves YOU WILL BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU • Hold a B.Sc. or diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture or a related field
- Have 2–5 years in field agronomy, agri-extension or as a field officer
- Can read a crop in the field and form an independent view
- Are comfortable in Excel — filtering, sorting, reading a formula-driven sheet
- Write a clear, short, factual escalation note
- Are willing to make an unpopular phone call when an alert has gone unactioned Good to have, not essential: onion or export-crop experience; exposure to NDVI / satellite crop monitoring; familiarity with packhouse grading and cold chain. We will train on the technology. TERMS • Contract: 1 September 2026 to 31 March 2027 (7 months, covering the full Rabi crop cycle)
- Compensation: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
- Location: field-based across our clusters in Rajula, Gujarat four to five days a week in the fields during the season
