Role Description The Faculty Member will teach and mentor students preparing for competitive exams and academic subjects, following GateIIT’s structured curriculum and pedagogical standards.

Responsibilities include delivering classroom lectures, conducting doubt-clearing sessions, creating and reviewing study materials, and setting and evaluating tests and assignments. The role involves tracking student performance, providing academic guidance, and supporting learners with exam strategies and time management techniques.



Faculty members will collaborate with other instructors to refine course content, participate in academic planning, and contribute to maintaining high success rates across exams and subjects.

This is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South, requiring regular classroom engagement and availability for scheduled batches and occasional weekend sessions.

Qualifications Solid subject expertise in one or more domains such as engineering, medical sciences, quantitative aptitude, or school-level science/commerce curricula.

Proven teaching, mentoring, or coaching experience, preferably in competitive exam preparation or academic tuition settings.

Ability to develop and deliver clear, structured lessons, including preparation of notes, practice questions, and exam-oriented study plans.

Skills in classroom management, student engagement, and providing constructive feedback to diverse learner profiles.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in regional languages is an advantage.

Comfort with using basic educational technology tools for presentations, test administration, and student progress tracking.

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Medicine, Sciences, Commerce, or Education); higher qualifications and exam ranks in GATE/NET/other competitive exams are highly desirable.

Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South with flexibility for multiple batches, including weekends or extended hours during peak seasons.
