Job Title: Fabric Sourcing Manager – (Knits & T-Shirts)

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Inspections & Compliance

- Conduct and manage inline and final inspections following defined AQL standards.
- Ensure quality compliance with brand-specific standards across product categories.
- Identify defects and root causes and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) in coordination with vendors.

2. Multi-Location QA Management

- Oversee quality activities across Surat, Vapi, Mumbai, Indore, and Jaipur—while being stationed in Ahmedabad.
- Schedule and perform regular factory visits to monitor and guide QA teams at vendor locations.
- Ensure uniform QA processes across all sourcing hubs.

3. Brand Alignment & Retail Standards

- Ensure all products meet the standards of retail or premium D2C brands under our portfolio.
- Collaborate with brand teams to understand style-specific quality expectations.
- Implement and maintain brand-specific SOPs and QA documentation.

4. Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain detailed quality reports, inspection records, and issue logs.




- Share actionable insights and weekly QA status updates with the Head of Sourcing, QA & Tech.
- Monitor key metrics like rejection rates, audit scores, and shipment approvals.

5. Vendor Capability Building

- Train vendor teams on AQL methods, defect categorisation, and preventive measures.
- Guide factories in strengthening their internal QA systems for self-governed quality delivery.

Key Requirements

- Experience: 8–12 years in quality assurance for apparel, ideally with retail brands or premium D2C companies.
- Preferred Background:
- Prior experience in companies like ABFRL, Landmark, Tata Trent, Reliance Retail, Shoppers Stop, or premium fashion startups.
- Location: Work location is Bangalore and open to frequent travel.
- Skills:
- Hands-on with inline and final inspections, AQL, fabric and garment specs.
- Solid communication, documentation, and vendor management capabilities.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Education: Degree/Diploma in Textile Technology, Apparel Production, Fashion Technology, or equivalent.
