Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparation and review of monthly GST computations and returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B)
- Perform GSTR-2A reconciliations and coordinate with clients to ensure accurate ITC claims and accounting
- Identify GST RCM–applicable transactions and ensure related compliance
- Support timely filing of GST returns and payment of taxes
- Reconcile tax registers with the tax general ledger
- Reconcile duties and taxes closing balances with electronic cash/credit ledgers on the GST portal
- Assist in preparation/review of GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C
- Support GST departmental audits and assessments
- Draft responses to notices issued by GST authorities
- Assist in preparing responses to summons from the Investigation Wing
- Support recent GST registration procedures, documentation, and compliance
- Conduct GST-related research and ensure accurate tax accounting
- Analyze amendments in tax laws and assess their impact on clients
- Review business agreements from a tax perspective and suggest necessary modifications
