We are seeking a proactive and experienced Air Export Pricing personnel to join our Pricing team. The role involves handling customer enquiries, negotiating rates with airlines and agents, preparing quotations, and ensuring seamless coordination with internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly attend and respond to customer enquiries.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates with airlines, sub-agents, destination offices, and transporters.
- Understand customer needs and provide effective, customized solutions.
- Coordinate with local shippers, destination offices, and CHA for smooth shipment handling.
- Update shipment status, track deliveries, and ensure proactive follow-ups.
- Maintain daily, weekly, monthly MIS.
- Participate in cargo planning and ensure committed cargo volumes with airlines are met.
- Provide timely and competitive rate quotations for spot queries.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Air Export Pricing (preferably in freight forwarding/logistics).
- Solid negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Good knowledge of market trends and the air freight industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/Freight forwarding systems.
