Role Description This is a remote, contract role for an Ethical Hacker.

The Ethical

Hacker will identify, exploit, and document security vulnerabilities across applications, networks, and cloud environments, using both automated tools and manual techniques. The role involves performing penetration tests, red-team exercises, and vulnerability assessments, then collaborating with engineering and security teams to recommend mitigation strategies and verify fixes.

Hacker will analyze emerging threats and malware behaviors, contribute to threat models, and provide evidence-based insights that enhance Com Olho’s AI-driven security stack. The position also includes creating clear technical reports, proof-of-concept exploits, and security best-practice guidelines for internal and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Cybersecurity, including secure architecture principles and threat modeling.

Hands-on expertise in Network Security and Vulnerability Assessment, including penetration testing and security scanning tools.

Practical experience in Application Security, such as secure coding review, OWASP Top 10 testing, and API security.

Ability to perform Malware Analysis, reverse engineering, and investigation of advanced persistent threats.

Familiarity with zero-trust frameworks, cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Linux/Windows internals.

Proficiency with common offensive security toolsets (e.g., Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Wireshark) and scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., OSCP, OSCE, CEH, GIAC GPEN/GWAPT, CISSP) and prior experience in red teaming or bug bounty programs.

Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly, work independently in a remote setting, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
