Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our high-impact technology team in Pune, focusing on the convergence of IoT ecosystems and scalable web architectures. In this role, you will bridge the gap between hardware-integrated data streams and intuitive user interfaces, overseeing the end-to-end development lifecycle.

You will work closely with cross-functional product managers, hardware engineers, and executive stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust, high-performance software solutions. By driving technical excellence and fostering a culture of innovation, you will directly influence the scalability of our IoT platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity and data reliability that enhances the experience for our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of technical rigor and continuous improvement to meet aggressive product delivery timelines.
- Architect and oversee the development of scalable IoT platforms, ensuring seamless integration between edge devices and cloud-based infrastructure to drive real-time data insights.
- Design and optimize complex database schemas using PostgreSQL, ensuring high availability and data integrity for large-scale enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to define the technical roadmap, ensuring that the React-based front-end and Node.js back-end services align with evolving business objectives.
- Establish best practices for code quality, security,



and system performance, ensuring that all deployments are resilient and capable of handling high-concurrency traffic.
- Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from initial requirement gathering to deployment and post-launch maintenance, to ensure maximum uptime and user satisfaction.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling full-stack applications using React.js for front-end development and Node.js for high-performance server-side logic.
- Proven ability to design and manage complex relational database architectures in PostgreSQL, with a focus on query optimization and data modeling for IoT-driven workloads.
- Strong technical leadership experience, with the ability to translate complex business problems into actionable engineering tasks for a team of 10-15+ years experienced professionals.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of articulating technical trade-offs to non-technical leadership and aligning team efforts with organizational goals.
- Solid understanding of IoT protocols and data ingestion pipelines, with the ability to integrate hardware-level data into web-based dashboards effectively.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, combined with a track record of thriving in a fast-paced, hybrid work setting in Pune.
- Proven adaptability in managing distributed or cross-functional teams, ensuring high levels of engagement and productivity across diverse technical domains.
