Role Overview:

The individual joining this position will have 5 to 6 years of relevant manufacturing engineer handling experience and will be part of the Boiler Supply team. This is a team-oriented role that requires close collaboration and support within a dynamic work environment. The responsibilities include conducting Development & Implementation of Boiler Automation projects aligning with Industry 4.0 and Smart manufacturing principles.

Implementation of TQM and associated projects on the boiler shop floor. Monthly and quarterly review of dispatch and manufacturing plan. Monitoring of process improvement data. Preparing and maintaining On-Time Delivery (OTD) reports for boiler orders.

The role also involves handling Outsource Processing (OSP) activities such as getting quotations, negotiating with vendors, generating purchase orders for OSP jobs, and managing material handling activities, including delivery challans and GRR processes.

The individual will regularly interact with various cross-functional stakeholders, including Engineering, Purchase, Quality teams, and external inspection agencies, to ensure timely issue resolution and to meet both company and customer expectations.

Purpose of the Role: Accountability of boiler Pressure part manufacturing--Overall process improvement and R12 system transaction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

A) Boiler Manufacturing experience & its related knowledge:

- Development & Implementation of Boiler Automation projects aligning with Industry 4.0 and Smart manufacturing principles.
- Implementation of TQM and associated projects on the boiler shop floor.
- Monthly and quarterly review of dispatch and manufacturing plan.
- Monitoring of process improvement data.
- Preparing and maintaining On-Time Delivery (OTD) reports for boiler orders.

B) Routing and OSP Application Knowledge Proficient in setting up routing in ERP (Oracle R12) for Boiler Work Orders, with strong understanding of the correct sequence for OSP operations.

Skilled in identifying required routing steps for OSP activities such as heat treatment, machining, bending, drilling, etc., based on process requirements and BOM structure.

C) OSP (Outsource Processing)

¢ Preparing and issuing Delivery Challans (DC) and Non-Returnable Delivery Challans (NRDC) for OSP material movement.

¢ Overseeing material inward and outward tracking for all OSP-related items, ensuring accuracy and full traceability.

¢ Creating Purchase Orders (POs) for OSP jobs, labour charges, and service requirements.

¢ Handling OSP and purchase code clearance in the Inventory Control System (ICS).

Qualification and Requirements:

BE(MECH/PROD)/GRADUATION with 5 to 6 years of manufacturing engineer
