Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced ITOM Engineer to design, implement, and support IT Operations Management solutions that improve infrastructure visibility, event management, service mapping, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ITSM/ITOM platforms, infrastructure monitoring, cloud technologies, and automation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, configure, and maintain ITOM solutions including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration.
- Implement infrastructure monitoring across servers, applications, databases, networks, and cloud environments.
- Integrate monitoring tools with ITSM platforms for automated incident generation.
- Configure CMDB and ensure data accuracy through automated discovery.
- Develop workflows, automation scripts, and orchestration processes to reduce manual effort.
- Monitor system performance and recommend proactive improvements.
- Troubleshoot issues related to monitoring tools, integrations, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security,
and DevOps teams.
- Create technical documentation and operational runbooks.
- Support upgrades, patches, and platform optimization initiatives.
Required Skills :
- Strong understanding of IT Operations Management concepts.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules.
- Knowledge of Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, VMware, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Dynatrace, LogicMonitor, Nagios, or Zabbix.
- Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or Shell.
- Understanding of REST APIs, integrations, and automation.
- Knowledge of networking, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.
- Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in enterprise IT infrastructure.
- ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
- ServiceNow ITOM certification is an added advantage.
