Room+ food provided by company A Machine Operator in a wire rope manufacturing company sets up, operates, and maintains industrial machinery (e.g., shears, presses, CNC machines) to cut, bend, or shape steel products. They ensure high-quality production, perform troubleshooting, and adhere to strict safety protocols, including wearing PPE, to meet production goals efficiently. Key Responsibilities

- Machine Operation & Setup: Load, secure, and align raw materials; adjust, calibrate, and operate steel processing equipment.
- Production & Quality Control: Monitor machine performance to produce parts according to blueprints, technical drawings, or job orders.
- Inspection: Measure completed parts using precision tools to ensure they meet quality, dimension, and specification standards.

- Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine maintenance (oiling, Cleaning, cleaning) and minor troubleshooting. Adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards, including wearing PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, earplugs).
- Documentation: Maintain production records, document technical parameters,



and report any defects or material shortages.

- Material Handling: Move, lift, and position heavy materials and equipment using cranes or hoists.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: High school diploma or GED is generally required.

- Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment is often preferred.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Familiarity with CNC controls is often needed.

- Physical Strength: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work in wide-ranging temperatures/environments (hot/cold).
- Attention to Detail: High level of focus to prevent defects and ensure safety.

Typical Working Environment

- Factories, steel mills, or fabrication plants.
- Shifts may include, morning, evening, or weekends to ensure 24/7 production.
- Exposure to noise, welding gases, and fumes.
