Role Description The Electrical Estimation Engineer will work full time on-site in Mumbai, preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical and related MEP works across industrial, commercial, and residential projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include studying drawings and specifications, preparing BOQs, analyzing material and labor requirements, and coordinating with project and design teams to clarify technical details. The role involves obtaining and evaluating vendor and subcontractor quotations, supporting tender submissions,



and assisting in value engineering and cost optimization.

The engineer will maintain estimation records, update cost databases, and support negotiation and finalization of project budgets with internal stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

Strong quantity take-off and documentation abilities, including BOQ preparation and related estimation reports.

Proficiency in project estimation for electrical and MEP works, including cost analysis and budgeting.

Educational background in Electrical Engineering.

Effective negotiation skills for dealing with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

Solid research skills for market rate analysis, technical data gathering, and benchmarking of materials and services.

Experience with estimation software and MS Excel; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools is an advantage.

Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and local regulations for electrical and MEP installations.

Solid analytical, numerical, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.

Prior experience in contracting or EPC companies handling industrial, commercial, or high-rise projects is preferred.
