We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in conducting electrical system studies using ETAP software and will have hands-on experience in electrical equipment sizing, technical documentation, and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Electrical System Studies such as load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, arc flash studies, and motor starting studies using ETAP software.
- Size electrical equipment accurately, ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
- Prepare Technical Specifications, Data Sheets, and Material Requisitions for electrical systems and components.
- Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) to assess vendor proposals and ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Review and approve Vendor Documents for major electrical equipment, ensuring quality and adherence to design requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs with overall project plans.
- Support procurement activities by providing technical insights and ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and project guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in electrical system design, analysis, and vendor coordination.
- Proficiency in ETAP software for system studies.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent technical writing skills for creating clear and concise documentation.
