Its services cover grid connection applications and management, principal designer responsibilities, lead engineer support, owner’s engineer services, and design review and verification.

Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for an Electrical biased CAD Designer in the power sector. The role involves preparing and updating technical and construction drawings, single line diagrams, and layout plans for renewable energy and grid connection projects. The designer will use CAD tools to support design engineers, ensure drawings meet relevant standards and client specifications,



and coordinate with project engineers and other stakeholders to resolve design queries.

Day-to-day work includes reviewing design inputs, maintaining drawing documentation, supporting compliance with utility and DNO requirements, and contributing to design reviews and verification activities. The role also requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate, timely, and constructible designs.

Qualifications

Ability to create precise Technical Drawing and Drawing outputs for electrical and power sector projects.

Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software used for power system and construction design.

Experience producing and interpreting Construction Drawings for substations, grid connections, and related infrastructure.

Background in Design Engineering, preferably focused on electrical power systems or renewable energy projects.

Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Knowledge of power system layouts, single line diagrams, and relevant industry standards and utility requirements.

Strong attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, and effective communication with engineering and project teams.

Previous experience in consultancy, EPC, utility, or renewable energy environments is an advantage.
