Role Description The Educational Counselor will work closely with prospective and current learners to understand their academic background, career goals, and skill gaps, and recommend appropriate courses and learning paths. In this full-time remote role, the counselor will conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, respond to inquiries via calls, messages, and email, and guide learners throughout the admission and onboarding process.

The role includes explaining program structures and outcomes, clarifying expectations,



and ensuring that learners select tracks aligned with their aspirations in areas such as AI, cloud, product management, data, and design. The counselor will maintain accurate records in CRM tools, follow up with leads, and collaborate with the training and placement teams to monitor learner progress and support career transitions. Additional responsibilities include hosting information sessions, contributing to content that answers common learner questions, and providing feedback to improve programs and learner experience.

Qualifications

- Robust Educational Consulting and Education-related experience to help learners choose suitable programs and learning paths.
- Hands-on Student Counseling skills to support learners through admissions, onboarding, and academic progression.
- Effective Communication capabilities, including clear spoken and written communication and active listening.
- Career Counseling expertise to advise on job roles, industry trends, and skill development for employability.
- Comfort working in a remote, technology-enabled environment, using CRM and communication tools.
- Prior experience in edtech, higher education, training institutes, or career services is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, management, or a related field; relevant certifications in counseling are an advantage.
- Empathy, patience, and a learner-first mindset, with the ability to work independently and meet enrollment and engagement targets.
