We are seeking an experienced Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) Consultant with 3–4+ years of experience in implementing Data Governance solutions using Informatica EDC (On-Premises). The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Informatica EDC installation, administration, configuration, and development, along with experience in customer engagement and project delivery. Prior experience in the Banking domain will be highly preferred.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Project Delivery

Participate in end-to-end Data Governance project implementation using Informatica EDC (On-Premises).

Work closely with customers, Project Managers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and design appropriate technical solutions.

Prepare project execution plans by identifying, sequencing, and tracking project activities and deliverables.

Identify project risks, document mitigation strategies, and proactively manage delivery risks.

Coordinate with internal delivery teams to ensure successful implementation within project timelines.

Customer interactions, provide project updates, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and post-implementation activities.

Informatica EDC Administration

Perform Informatica EDC administration activities, including resource creation, metadata imports, scanner configuration, user management, and repository maintenance.

Install, configure, and maintain Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) environments.

Troubleshoot EDC platform issues and coordinate with infrastructure teams for performance optimization.

Informatica EDC Development

Configure and develop metadata extraction from various source systems.

Implement Data Discovery and metadata cataloging solutions.

Create and maintain Data Domains and custom data classifications.





Configure Relationships between metadata assets.

Develop and execute Data Profiling activities.

Implement and validate Technical Data Lineage.

Perform Data Curation and metadata enrichment activities.

Support metadata scanning, catalog refresh, and governance workflows.

3–4+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) – On-Premises.

Strong experience in Informatica EDC Installation and Configuration.

Hands-on experience with Informatica EDC Administration.
