About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Backend person to support our Africa & Middle East business operations. The role involves coordinating with overseas customers, distributors, internal departments, and logistics partners to ensure seamless order processing, timely documentation, and excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate should be organized, possess strong communication skills, and be capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced export setting.

Key Responsibilities: Sales Coordination:

· Provide complete backend support to the International Sales team for Africa & Middle East markets.

· Prepare quotations, Proforma Invoices (PIs), commercial offers, and customer correspondence.

· Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and pending orders with customers and distributors.

· Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and business reports.

Export

Documentation

· Prepare and coordinate export documentation, including:

o Commercial Invoices o Packing Lists o Certificate of Origin o Bill of Lading / Airway Bill o Shipping Instructions o LC and payment-related documentation o Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, and internal logistics teams.

Order

Management

· Monitor orders from receipt to dispatch.

· Coordinate with Production, Planning, QA, and Dispatch teams to ensure timely execution.

· Update customers regularly on production and shipment status.

· Resolve order-related issues proactively.

Customer Relationship

Management

· Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally.

· Build strong relationships with distributors and key customers.

· Maintain high customer satisfaction through timely communication and efficient support. MIS & Reporting:

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.

· Track pending quotations, orders, payments, and dispatches.

· Maintain accurate CRM and records. Cross-functional Coordination

· Work closely with Finance for payment follow-ups and documentation.





· Coordinate with Marketing for catalogues, samples, and promotional material.

· Support the sales team during exhibitions, customer visits, and business development activities.

Candidate

Profile

Education

· Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.

· MBA (preferred but not mandatory). Experience

· 3-5 years of experience in International Sales Coordination or Export Documentation.

· Experience in manufacturing or export-oriented companies will be preferred.

· Prior exposure to Africa or Middle East markets will be an advantage.

Skills Required

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Positive knowledge of export documentation and international trade processes.

· Strong coordination and follow-up abilities.

· Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ERP / SAP and CRM systems.

· Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred

Add-ons : · Knowledge of French will be an added advantage.

· Experience handling distributors and export customers.

· Basic understanding of international payment terms, Incoterms, and Letters of Credit (LCs).

· CTC: ₹5–6 LPA (negotiable based on experience and value addition).
