We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced DWP VDI Architect with 6 to 11 years of experience to lead our team in designing and implementing complex virtual desktop environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, information systems, or a related field, and should be based in India, preferably in Bangalore.

Roles and Responsibility

- Lead technical design and solution architecture for complex projects.
- Design, install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot complex virtual desktop environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, development, and product teams to evaluate and identify optimal solutions.
- Develop strategic customer relationships, gain trust, and respect for the team.
- Solve complex technical problems through sound and methodical troubleshooting.
- Provide comprehensive end-to-end architecture for stakeholders' business and technical requirements.
- Ensure alignment across business, people, process, and systems domains.
- Gather business and technical requirements from internal and external stakeholders to produce a requirements specification document.
- Analyze and investigate possible solutions to meet customers' business and technical requirements.
- Produce professional, high-level solution descriptions and obtain customer acceptance.
- Be responsible for the technical solution throughout all project phases,



supporting project managers and working within a defined change management process.
- Migrate virtual desktops from on-prem to cloud (Tenant to Tenant).
- Implement Azure site recovery for workload replication for BCDR requirements.
- Take accountability for applying, implementing, and examining documentation of the AVD.

Job Requirements

- Proven experience leading virtual desktop design and implementation efforts on complex projects.
- Strong experience technically leading complex projects throughout the complete IT lifecycle.
- Experience working in a matrix organization and leading customer relationships.
- Disciplined and rigorous approach to network and infrastructure design.
- Robust understanding of Azure cloud services and concepts supporting IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical procedures in business terms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with Windows and Azure automation tools.
- Experience with IP Networking, VNet peering, Azure Firewall, and Azure Active Directory.
