Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Drafter role based in Coimbatore. The Drafter will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings, plans, and layouts using CAD software, following project specifications and design standards. Day-to-day tasks include translating conceptual sketches into technical drawings, updating plans based on feedback from architects, engineers, and builders, and maintaining organized drawing sets and documentation.

The role also involves checking drawings for accuracy and compliance with relevant codes, coordinating design details with project team members,



and supporting the preparation of material lists and measurements. The Drafter will work closely with design and construction teams to ensure that plans are buildable, precise, and aligned with client requirements.

Qualifications

Proficiency in CAD and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and strong technical drawing skills.

Solid understanding of architectural and construction principles, building components, and basic structural concepts.

Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and convert concepts into accurate plans.

Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and a commitment to precision and quality in all documentation.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with architects, engineers, builders, and project managers.

Good time-management, organizational abilities, and capacity to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; relevant drafting experience is preferred.

Familiarity with local building standards and codes in Coimbatore or willingness to learn them quickly.
