SUMMARY OF POSITION Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:
Securing a cutting-edge Adalvo pipeline and portfolio via all kind of business models (in-licensing, co-development, distribution, fee-for-project, M&A;, etc.)
Strategy development and implementation by securing early commitment either from industry partners or financial investors
Building up a strong network of global development & manufacturing partners and cultivate them
Developing a network of investment partners who have appetite in investing or co-investing on early stage high-value / high-risk projects
Coordinate with internal teams (R&D;, regulatory, supply chain, commercial) to ensure smooth execution of partnership agreements.
Analyzing resource/return aspects carefully in line with business cases and leveraging from resources and programs to achieve maximum value from each selected deal
Participation in inter-functional project teams and closely following the status of products brought into portfolio
Representing Adalvo in partnering meetings and planning/execution of such trips
Ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and rules
Continuous self-education about the portfolio of Adalvo and technology platforms ambition.
REQUIREMENTS Entrepreneurial character who can mitigate on a vivid deal-making landscape is a must
Strong understanding and ability to articulate the USPs of Drug Products on the medical, technical and commercial fronts
Understanding of global pharma markets especially EU, USA
Able to promote product concepts to both industry and financial partners to mitigate risk by securing early commitment
Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast and quickly changing atmosphere
+5 years’ experience in the Generic Pharma Business Development (either out or in-licensing)
High level communication and negotiation skills along with good command of English
Flexibility to travel
Understanding of B2B pharma characteristics is an advantage
In-Licensing or Out-Licensing experience on complex, differentiated or innovative assets is an advantage
