Role Description The Director of Operations (India & Africa) is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing operational performance across properties in the India and Africa regions. This position leads regional hotel operations, ensuring service excellence, adherence to brand standards, and achievement of financial and guest satisfaction targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, optimizing processes, collaborating with property leadership teams, and driving operational improvements.

The role also involves developing and managing budgets, supporting pre-opening and transition activities where relevant, and ensuring consistent implementation of policies and procedures.



The Director of Operations will partner closely with cross-functional teams to align operations with strategic goals and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and guest-centric service.

Qualifications

Robust Operations Management experience, including overseeing multi-property or multi-region hotel or hospitality operations.

Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial reports, operational KPIs, and market data, and to make data-informed decisions.

Proven Team Management capabilities, including leading diverse, remote, and cross-cultural teams and mentoring property leaders.

Hands-on Budgeting and financial management skills, with experience in cost control, forecasting, and P&L; responsibility.

Excellent Customer Service orientation, with a track record of enhancing guest experience and maintaining high service standards.

Experience in hotel or resort management, preferably across international markets, with familiarity in India and Africa hospitality landscapes.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate with owners, partners, and internal teams.

Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with strong organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
