- Monitor and operate chemical process equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in maintaining smooth plant operations to achieve production targets.
- Record and analyze process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, and levels.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, utility, laboratory, and safety teams for uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure compliance with process safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Support troubleshooting of process deviations and implement corrective actions under supervision.
- Participate in preventive maintenance activities and plant shutdown/start-up operations.
- Maintain shift logs, production reports, and operational documentation accurately.
- Follow 5S, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and housekeeping standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, energy conservation, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Adhere to all statutory regulations, EHS guidelines, and company policies.
Qualification
- Graduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant industrial experience may apply.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of chemical process operations and unit operations.
- Understanding of process equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, reactors, distillation columns, and storage systems.
- Familiarity with P&IDs; and process flow diagrams.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office).
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts.
