Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-fidelity Digital Twin applications using Unreal Engine for Smart City, Industrial, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, and Enterprise use cases.
- Build immersive, real-time 3D visualization environments using Unreal Engine 5 with optimized rendering and performance.
- Develop interactive simulations using Blueprint Visual Scripting and C++ to enable dynamic user interactions and workflows.
- Create scalable Digital Twin pipelines using OpenUSD (Universal Scene Description) for seamless interoperability between multiple 3D applications.
- Integrate and manage complex USD stages, layers, variants, payloads, references, and composition workflows.
- Develop and customize Digital Twin solutions using NVIDIA Omniverse for collaborative real-time visualization and simulation.
- Configure and manage Omniverse Nucleus, Composer, Kit applications, and Omniverse extensions.
- Build collaborative multi-user Digital Twin environments leveraging Omniverse technologies.
- Develop robotics and autonomous system simulations using NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
- Configure robot assets, sensors (Camera, LiDAR, IMU, GPS), physics, and environmental simulations.
- Simulate robotic navigation, perception, localization, obstacle avoidance, and autonomous workflows within Isaac Sim.
- Integrate Digital Twin applications with IoT devices, telemetry data, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
- Develop real-time dashboards for monitoring assets, sensor data, and operational insights.
- Import and optimize BIM, CAD, GIS, LiDAR, and point cloud datasets into Digital Twin environments.
- Optimize 3D assets, materials, textures, lighting, Nanite, and Lumen for high-performance visualization.
- Develop reusable Unreal Engine Blueprints, components, plugins, and modular frameworks.
- Implement animation systems, level streaming, world partitioning, procedural content generation, and interactive workflows.
- Work closely with AI/ML teams to integrate computer vision,
predictive analytics, and AI-driven simulations.
- Collaborate with GIS, BIM, IoT, and Data Engineering teams to build end-to-end Digital Twin ecosystems.
- Integrate REST APIs, WebSockets, MQTT, OPC-UA, or other communication protocols for real-time data synchronization.
- Develop simulation scenarios for emergency response, traffic management, manufacturing operations, logistics, and asset monitoring.
- Troubleshoot rendering, simulation, synchronization, and performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure Digital Twin applications follow scalability, maintainability, and software engineering best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development processes.
- Document technical designs, simulation workflows, deployment procedures, and user guides.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in Unreal Engine, NVIDIA Omniverse, OpenUSD, Isaac Sim, AI, XR, and Digital Twin platforms.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong experience in Unreal Engine 5 development.
- Hands-on expertise in Blueprint Visual Scripting and Unreal Engine architecture.
- Experience working with NVIDIA Omniverse Platform.
- Strong understanding of OpenUSD (Universal Scene Description) workflows.
- Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim for robotics and simulation.
- Knowledge of Python scripting for Omniverse, Isaac Sim, or automation.
- Experience integrating IoT, GIS, BIM, CAD, or enterprise data into Digital Twin applications.
- Familiarity with robotics simulation, autonomous systems, or AI-based simulation.
- Experience optimizing large-scale 3D environments.
- Understanding of rendering technologies such as Nanite, Lumen, Ray Tracing, and real-time visualization.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, WebSockets, MQTT, or OPC-UA integration.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP for Digital Twin deployment.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Solid analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
