Role Description This is a contract, in office Die Fitter role based in Sanand.

The Die

Fitter will be responsible for installing, fitting, and maintaining dies used in manufacturing processes, ensuring they are aligned, calibrated, and ready for production. Daily work includes inspecting dies for wear or damage, performing adjustments, repairs, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. The role involves working closely with production and maintenance teams to support smooth operations, troubleshoot issues,



and maintain adherence to safety and quality standards.

The Die

Fitter will also document maintenance activities, follow work instructions, and contribute to process improvements in the tooling and die-fitting area.

Qualifications Technical knowledge of die fitting, toolroom operations, and basic machining processes that a candidate should possess.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, use measuring instruments, and apply precision fitting techniques that a candidate should possess.

Skills in troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment reliability that a candidate should possess.

Understanding of shop-floor safety practices, quality standards, and production workflows that a candidate should possess.

Relevant vocational training, ITI or diploma in mechanical/tool and die or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Capacity to work in shifts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and follow established procedures and documentation requirements.

Prior experience in die fitting or tool and die maintenance in automotive or engineering industries is preferred.
