Role Description The DevOps professional at PPStack will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support scalable and reliable delivery of our EdTech platforms and services. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with software development teams to automate build, test, and deployment processes, managing containerized applications and orchestration tools, and monitoring system performance and reliability. The role involves administering Linux-based infrastructure, troubleshooting integration issues, optimizing deployment workflows,
and contributing to infrastructure-as-code practices.
This is a full-time, remote role that requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams in engineering, product, and data to ensure secure, highly available, and efficient environments.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Software Development and Integration to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and automate application delivery.
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration tools and practices to design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in Kubernetes and containerization concepts for deploying and managing scalable microservices-based applications.
Advanced knowledge of Linux administration for managing servers, optimizing system performance, and ensuring secure environments.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to maintain system reliability.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently in a remote setting, and clear written and verbal communication.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
