Job Title: DevOps (Development and Operations) Engineer — Multi-Cloud (Amazon Web Services [AWS] & Microsoft Azure)
Role/Job Summary:We are looking for a hands-on DevOps (Development and Operations) Engineer with strong experience in container orchestration using Kubernetes (K8s) and multi-cloud operations across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. The role requires practical expertise in building and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and observability to enable faster, more reliable software delivery. The candidate will collaborate closely with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to automate, secure, and optimize the entire deployment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized workloads on Kubernetes (K8s), including cluster provisioning, Helm chart management, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Implement and manage containerization using Docker, including image optimization and registry management.
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Azure Monitor, or Amazon CloudWatch.
- Automate operational tasks and system configurations through scripting (Python, Bash/Shell).
- Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization across cloud environments (DevSecOps practices, secrets management, and role-based access control [RBAC]).
- Support incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement of system reliability and uptime.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to standardize release processes and reduce deployment lead time.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration in production environments.
- Proven working knowledge of both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
- Practical experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
- Containerization expertise with Docker.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) proficiency using Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash/Shell for automation.
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration and networking fundamentals (Domain Name System [DNS], load balancing, firewalls).
- Version control proficiency with Git.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA),
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and Service Level Objective (SLO) / Service Level Agreement (SLA) management.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as a third cloud.
- Familiarity with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, vulnerability scanning, and secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault).
- Exposure to microservices architecture and service mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
Experience Required:3–6 Years of relevant hands-on DevOps (Development and Operations) experience.
Any Other Important Notes:
- Location: Pune, Maharashtra (India) — on-site / hybrid as per project and client requirements.
- Shift Timings: Willingness to work in flexible or overlapping shifts to support global clients; participation in on-call / rotational support may be required for production environments.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills; the role may be client-facing and requires transparent stakeholder coordination.
- Certifications: Cloud or Kubernetes certifications (CKA, AWS, or Azure) will be considered a strong differentiator during shortlisting.
- Notice Period: As per organizational hiring policy, immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of less than 30 days are strongly preferred.
- Other: Candidate should demonstrate an automation-first mindset, ownership of production reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional Agile teams.
