Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on GCP.
- Architect, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes environments using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Build, optimize, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Google Cloud Build.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and related automation frameworks.
- Implement and enhance monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions to ensure platform reliability.
- Define and drive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), problem management, and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure performance, availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes, release management, and application reliability.
- Mentor and guide DevOps and SRE engineers while promoting automation and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.




- Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including:

- Compute Engine

- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Cloud Functions / Cloud Run

- Cloud Storage

- BigQuery

- Pub/Sub

- IAM
- VPC Networking & Security

- Extensive experience with

- Kubernetes

- Docker

- Terraform

- Helm

- Ansible
- Strong experience implementing and managing enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Go, or Java.
- Strong understanding of Linux systems administration, networking concepts, and cloud security best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, Splunk, or Google Cloud Operations Suite.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio.
- Experience implementing GitOps practices using tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- GCP Professional Certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Qualified DevOps Engineer) are highly preferred.
- Experience leading technical teams and driving cloud transformation initiatives.
