Role Description The Design Verification Engineer is a full time, in office role based in Bengaluru South. This role involves developing and executing verification plans for complex SoC and ASIC designs, including creating testbenches, writing test cases, and performing functional, regression, and coverage-driven verification. The engineer will collaborate closely with design, DFT, physical design, and embedded software teams to clarify specifications, identify corner cases, and ensure design robustness.

Day-to-day responsibilities include debugging issues, analyzing waveforms and logs,



reviewing design documentation, and contributing to methodology and flow improvements. The role also includes preparing verification reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting tape-out and post-silicon validation activities as needed.

Qualifications

Strong skills in digital design and ASIC/SoC fundamentals, including understanding of RTL, timing, and hardware architectures.

Proficiency in design verification methodologies such as SystemVerilog, UVM or similar frameworks, and constrained-random verification.

Experience with verification tools and environments, including simulators, waveform viewers, coverage tools, and regression management systems.

Ability to read and interpret specifications, write clear test plans, and perform detailed debugging and root-cause analysis.

Familiarity with scripting languages (such as Python, Perl, or Shell) to automate verification tasks and improve productivity.

Knowledge of FPGA-based prototyping, DFT concepts, or post-silicon validation flows is an advantage.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Effective communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, quality-focused setting.
