To prepare, monitor, and control cost estimates, budgets, and financial performance of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) works across projects, ensuring cost efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Cost Estimation & Budgeting Prepare detailed budget estimate for MEP works during preliminary, pre-contract & tendering stages of a residential & plotted development project.

Assist in value engineering to optimize costs without compromising quality or compliance.

Preparation and validation of MEP BOQs as per the tender drawing with value engineering input to make fit into given budget.

Preparation of estimate for MEP BOQs with detailed rate analysis inline with the market rate.

Sound knowledge in MEP design principles.

· Coordinate with design, procurement, site, and finance teams to ensure budget alignment.

- Cost Control & Monitoring

Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.

Track cost variations, design changes, NT items, amendments and propose corrective actions.

Support preparation of half early cost-to-complete and cost variance reports.

Up to date knowledge in market rates of all MEP materials.

Ensure compliance with contract conditions, specifications, IS codes, and company policies.

- BOQ & Measurement





Prepare, review, and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for MEP works.

Prepare PRE TENDER ESTIMATE for MEP BOQs aligned with market rate.

Assist site teams for bill checking & amendments closure.

Auditing final bills of all MEP works as per GFC drawings.

Who are we looking for?

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree Graduation in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering. Additional certification in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management is an advantage.

Experience: · Experience in MEP costing, budgeting, billing and must have experience exclusively in cost estimation & budgeting.

· Experience in residential, commercial & infrastructure projects preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong knowledge of MEP systems, BOQs, specifications, and drawings

· Proficiency in MS Excel, cost estimation tools, and ERP systems

· Understanding of contracts, tendering, and billing procedures

· Analytical and numerical accuracy

· Good coordination and communication skills

· Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects

Tools & Software (Preferred)

· MS Excel (advanced)

· AutoCAD (for quantity reference)
