Demand Automation & Forecasting Specialist | SAP Supply Chain Planning

About the Opportunity

We're hiring for a leading global semiconductor organization seeking professionals who can improve forecasting accuracy and supply chain readiness through Demand Automation and SAP Planning .

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in Demand Forecasting, Product Configuration, Planning BOMs, and SAP ERP/MRP within a complex manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Demand Automation initiatives across products, business units, and manufacturing sites.
- Drive Planning BOM to Demand Automation transitions.
- Improve forecast signal quality and planning efficiency.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for forecast deviations and planning exceptions.
- Manage forecasting exceptions related to Sales Orders, Customer Quotes, Variant Configurator, Planning BOMs, and MRP .
- Monitor forecast KPIs and recommend continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Master Scheduling, Product Groups, Configuration Engineering, and SAP Business Systems teams.
- Support automation, process standardization, and forecasting transformation initiatives.

Must-Have Skills
- 5–12 years of experience in Demand Forecasting / Supply Chain Planning
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP, MRP, Planning Modules, Sales Orders & Customer Quotes




- Experience with Planning BOMs, Product Configuration & Variant Configurator
- Strong understanding of system-level forecasting in complex manufacturing environments
- Excellent analytical skills with hands-on Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Experience working with global cross-functional stakeholders

Important Note This is not a traditional Material Planning role .

We're looking for professionals who understand complete product configurations, Planning BOMs, Variant Configurator, and end-to-end demand forecasting , rather than planning individual parts or components.

This chance is best suited for professionals with 5–12 years of relevant experience. Candidates with more than 12 years of experience are requested to refrain from applying, as the role is aligned to a mid-level experience band.
