Database Administration (L2 Support)

Microsoft SQL Server

- Perform database backup and restore activities.
- Manage database users, roles, and permissions.
- Conduct database health checks and maintenance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SQL Agent jobs.
- Perform basic performance analysis and optimization.
- Investigate and resolve database connectivity issues.

MySQL
- Monitor and manage replication environments.
- Troubleshoot replication-related issues.
- Perform backup and recovery operations.
- Handle user administration and access management.
- Support basic database performance tuning activities.

Azure Database Services (DBaaS)
- Manage Azure SQL Database.
- Manage Azure Database for MySQL.
- Manage Azure Database for PostgreSQL.
- Provision and configure cloud databases.
- Monitor database performance and utilization.
- Scale database resources based on business requirements.
- Implement basic database security and access controls.

Middleware Administration

IIS (Internet Information Services)

- Install, configure, and maintain IIS environments.
- Deploy websites and web applications.
- Manage application pools and IIS configurations.
- Install and renew SSL certificates.
- Analyze logs and troubleshoot web application issues.

Apache Web Server
- Configure and manage Apache services.
- Manage virtual hosts and SSL configurations.
- Troubleshoot server and application issues through log analysis.

Tomcat Administration
- Install and configure Apache Tomcat.
- Support application deployments.
- Monitor JVM performance and health.
- Analyze server logs and troubleshoot performance-related issues.

SharePoint Administration

Experience supporting

- SharePoint 2016
- SharePoint 2019
- SharePoint Online





Responsibilities include:
- Create and administer SharePoint sites.
- Configure permissions and security settings.
- Manage user access requests.
- Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Provide technical support to business users.

Operating System Administration

Windows Server

- Manage Windows services and scheduled tasks.
- Perform Event Viewer analysis and troubleshooting.
- Administer users and permissions.
- Support server maintenance and issue resolution.

Linux
- Monitor system processes and resource utilization.
- Manage file systems and storage.
- Administer Linux services and user accounts.
- Execute troubleshooting using shell commands.

Scripting & Automation Hands-on experience in:
- PowerShell Scripting
- Shell Scripting (Bash)

Responsibilities:
- Automate operational and monitoring activities.
- Develop scripts for routine maintenance tasks.
- Enhance operational efficiency through automation.

Networking & Infrastructure Knowledge

Positive understanding of

- DNS
- TCP/IP
- Load Balancers
- Firewall Fundamentals
- SSL/TLS Certificates
- Certificate Renewal and Deployment Processes

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Certifications

Candidates holding any of the following certifications will be preferred:

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300)

Candidate Requirements The candidate must: Have 47 years of relevant experience

Be comfortable working in a 24x7 rotational shift model (4 shifts)

Be willing to work from office (5 days a week) in Hyderabad

Be willing for long-term deployment with our client(minimum 3 years)

Have experience supporting Production Environments
