Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role

As a Snowflake Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Snowflake data platform environments across development, testing, and production. You will play a critical role in ensuring platform performance, security, compliance, governance, and cost efficiency while enabling seamless data integration across enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities

? Platform Setup & Environment Management :

Deploy, configure, and maintain Snowflake environments across Development, Test, and Production.

Implement platform best practices and environment standards.

Optimize warehouse sizing, auto-scaling, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and cost control. ? Source Connectivity & Data Ingestion :

Configure and maintain connections to enterprise data sources.

Manage Snowpipe, external stages, and data ingestion workflows.

Support integration with ETL/ELT tools and cloud storage platforms. ? User, Role & Access Management :

Design and administer Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

Enforce least-privilege security principles.

Manage user provisioning, authentication, and Single Sign-On (SSO)/OAuth integrations.





Perform periodic access reviews and compliance checks. ? Security & Compliance Standards :

Implement column-level and row-level security controls.

Configure agile data masking and encryption policies.

Manage audit logging and security monitoring.

Ensure adherence to SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and organizational compliance requirements. ? Performance Monitoring & Cost Optimization :

Monitor query performance and warehouse utilization.

Optimize clustering keys, caching strategies, and materialized views.

Analyze system usage trends and implement cost governance measures.

Troubleshoot and resolve platform performance issues. ? Governance, Documentation & Operational Standards :

Establish and maintain data governance standards and naming conventions.

Manage data retention, backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

Create and maintain operational documentation and runbooks.

Support CI/CD automation and infrastructure management initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Strong hands-on experience administering Snowflake environments

Expertise in Snowflake security, RBAC, and access management

Experience with Snowpipe, external stages, and data ingestion frameworks

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration solutions

Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security frameworks

Strong SQL and performance tuning skills

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation Preferred Qualifications :

SnowPro Certification (Core or Advanced)

Experience with Terraform,



GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar DevOps tools

Experience supporting large-scale enterprise data platforms
