Requirements

Job Summary:

Support role focused on secure and efficient database access management, incident resolution, and optimization across hybrid environments (On-Prem & Azure). Collaboration with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams. Emphasis on automation and scripting.

Required Skills & Tools:

- Proven experience in enterprise-level database administration

- User management & access control across MSSQL, PostgreSQL

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure: Azure SQL Database,



Azure Database for PostgreSQL

- Familiarity with ARM templates, monitoring, cost optimization, and security best practices

- Incident & problem management, root cause analysis

- Performance tuning, query optimization

- Scripting with PowerShell, Bash, Perl, SQL procedures/functions

- Understanding of NoSQL concepts (MongoDB)

- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)

- Excellent communication and documentation skills

Nice-To-Have:

- Exposure to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD integration for database deployments

- Experience with backup strategies, disaster recovery, and high availability setups

- Knowledge of compliance standards and data governance
