Job Title – Database Administrator The Purpose of Your Role

Responsible for managing Fidelity Brokerage's Db2 on z/OS Platform along with Aurora PostgreSQL and Aerospike on AWS.

As part of this role, the DBA will be responsible for the below key responsibilities:

- Providing Application Database and Replication support for a large DB2 z/OS sysplex environment

- Providing Application Database and Data Migration support for an established cloud-based database infrastructure

- SQL tuning and Performance on both Db2 and PostgreSQL

- Maintenance of Databases – Utilities management

- Providing 12x7 on-call support

- Database Engineering

The Skills That Are Key To This Role

- Extensive experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large complex Database Setting

- Extensive experience in SQL, JCL, COBOL

- Experience in Qrep and IIDR replication products

The Skills that is good to have for this role

- Knowledge of DB2 LUW on LINUX/UNIX

- Experience on CA Platinum tools

- Expertise in distributed technologies (Linux, VSCode, Git, Jenkins) including AWS based Aurora PostgreSQL





- Expertise in AWS concepts and services like IAM, SSO, KMS/CMK, PG, PHZ, VPC, Route53, RDS, RDS-Proxy, Lambda, S3, EBS,CloudWatch, DMS, EC2, AMI, rehydration, etc. and provisioning them

The FAE India team is distributed across Chennai and Bangalore.

The Expertise we're Looking For

- BE/MCA

- 2-5 years of industry experience
