Roles & Responsibilities:

- Partner with Product teams to identify high-impact Machine Learning opportunities aligned with key business metrics.
- Collect, clean, and transform large structured and unstructured datasets to build reliable features and scalable data pipelines.
- Design, develop, and deploy Machine Learning models for recommendation systems, personalization, pricing optimization, fraud detection, propensity modeling, and user ranking.
- Build and optimize NLP solutions including text classification, text generation, embeddings, similarity models, user profiling, and feature extraction from unstructured data.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to productionize ML models using REST APIs, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Design and execute A/B experiments to evaluate model performance and business impact.
- Monitor model performance, data quality, model drift, and business KPIs, implementing continuous improvements where required.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

Ideal Candidate:

- 3 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or AI Engineer.
- Strong programming expertise in Python with hands-on implementation of classical Machine Learning algorithms such as Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, and Gradient Boosting.




- Practical experience building and deploying Deep Learning models using TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas: Recommendation Systems, Computer Vision/Image Processing, Fraud & Risk Detection, Pricing Optimization, or Propensity Modeling.
- Strong understanding of NLP, including text classification, text generation, embeddings, similarity search, user profiling, and feature extraction from unstructured text.
- Experience deploying ML models into production using REST APIs, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience working in a product-based company is mandatory.
- Candidates from banking, financial services, or fintech organizations will not be considered.
- Candidates must currently be based in Mumbai or be native to Mumbai.
