Role Description The Data Science Faculty will deliver high-quality, placement-focused training in data science and related areas to undergraduate and postgraduate learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and updating curriculum, preparing teaching materials, conducting interactive classroom sessions, and providing hands-on guidance through labs, projects, and case studies. The role also involves mentoring learners on interview preparation, guiding them on portfolios and projects, evaluating performance through assessments, and providing constructive feedback.





The faculty member will collaborate with other trainers and academic teams to align content with industry expectations and continuously improve the program. This is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in statistics, probability, linear algebra, and data analysis.

Candidates should possess practical expertise in programming for data science (e.g., Python or R) and working with data using libraries and tools.

Candidates should possess knowledge of machine learning concepts, model building, evaluation, and real-world applications.

Candidates should possess experience in teaching, training, or mentoring learners, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.

Candidates should possess strong communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to engage and motivate diverse learner groups.

Candidates should possess the ability to design structured lesson plans, learning outcomes, and assessments aligned with placement goals.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.

Experience working as a data scientist, analyst, or in a related industry role will be considered a strong advantage.

Familiarity with current industry tools, trends, and hiring practices in data science and tech-based roles is beneficial.
