We are seeking an experienced Data Modeller to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling and database design, with a focus on creating effective data structures that support business needs.

Responsibilities

- Design and maintain data models that support business processes and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data models.
- Ensure data integrity and quality through regular audits and validations of data models.
- Optimize existing data models for performance and scalability.
- Work with data engineers and developers to implement data models in databases and data warehouses.
- Document data model structures, definitions, and changes for reference and compliance.




- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data modeling and database design.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8-13 years of experience in data modeling and database design.
- Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ERwin, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect, or similar.
- Robust knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases like MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Experience with dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases and big data technologies is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
