Job Title: Data Management - Data Analyst Position: Data Management - Data Analyst Experience: 5 - 7 Years Category: IT Infrastructure Main location: Mumbai Position ID: J0626-2089 Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities Implement Data Governance framework in Collibra – the metadata management tool

Create and maintain data assets such as data elements, lineage, flows, data quality rules and controls in Collibra

Work with different stakeholders to gather information related to data assets and implement the information in Collibra

Understand and implement the change requests received from stakeholders in Collibra

Able to read and interpret BRDs and technical specs to perform functional testing of data lineage.

Work and update the metadata Power BI dashboard with Collibra as a data source.

Create Python scripts to connect to various data sources, data cleaning and reconciliation of data.

Able to review deliverables of lineage created by IT department. Communicate changes to IT team for lineage and test the releases.

Able to extract required information from lots of excel files containing huge volume of data.

Able to summarize critical issues in commentary format along with charts, bar or pie diagrams and able to generate status report for senior and executive management group.

Create SOP's, perform knowledge transfer and cross training for proper backup in team.

Effective communication across multiple teams including development team (IT) and other stakeholders.





Ability to translate business requirements and work with development teams throughout resolution, implementation and delivery.

Contributing Responsibilities

Create BRDs, functional specifications, flow charts, Root cause analysis and other diagnostic documentations.

Have a good understanding of the data flows and understand its lifecycle of source to destination.

Identify risk in process and propose / implement controls Technical & Behavioral Competencies Able to work with large data in excel and suggest process enhancement ideas.

Knowledge of advanced formulas & pivot tables in excel is must.

Valuable working knowledge of tools such as Collibra, Ab-Initio, Informatica Metadata Manager

SharePoint, MS Word, MS Visio, PowerPoint, Power BI and Python Specific Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience along with Bachelor's Degree - in management, finance, science, economics, related field or equivalent experience.

Prior experience in similar domain.
