About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Technical Architect - Data to join our dynamic team in Mumbai or Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale AWS data platforms and Lakehouse solutions. You will serve as a technical leader, guiding cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle—from solution architecture and technology selection to deployment, optimization, and ongoing support.

Your expertise in modern AWS data engineering technologies, coupled with your strong architectural skills, will be instrumental in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions that meet our clients' strategic objectives.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in designing and deploying enterprise data solutions on AWS. A strong background in data lake, lakehouse, and data warehouse architectures is essential,



along with proven leadership in end-to-end cloud-native platform implementations. Hands-on proficiency in SQL, Spark/PySpark, and Python is required, as well as experience with Lakehouse architectures using Apache Iceberg.

Candidates should possess deep knowledge of AWS services such as EMR, S3, Athena, Glue Catalog, Aurora PostgreSQL, Lambda, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and IAM.

Certifications such as AWS Solution Architect (Associate or Professional) or AWS Data Engineer are preferred.

Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of enterprise data platforms on AWS, including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse architectures.

Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions utilizing AWS native services and modern data engineering best practices.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, define architecture strategies, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Mentor engineering teams, conduct code and architecture reviews, and promote engineering excellence across projects.

Design and optimize large-scale data pipelines for batch and streaming data processing using AWS tools such as Glue, EMR, and Lambda.

Implement performance tuning and optimization for Spark/PySpark, Apache Iceberg,



and Aurora PostgreSQL to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Develop and maintain orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions to automate data workflows and pipelines.

Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data governance standards, integrating tools such as Collibra and data virtualization platforms where applicable.

Evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend innovative solutions that improve platform performance and scalability.

Participate in stakeholder management, providing technical guidance and updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
