Role Overview The Data Centre Operations Admin will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Data Centre and will work closely with IMSG, TIG teams, COLO service providers, and infrastructure vendors to ensure smooth, secure, and highly available DC operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Data Centre operations

- Coordinate with COLO providers and infrastructure vendors

- Monitor Electrical, UPS, PDU, HVAC, cooling, containment, safety, and security

- Perform preventive checks and maintain DC hygiene

- Handle rack mounting, commissioning, and decommissioning of IT hardware

- Manage structured cabling, labeling standards, and troubleshooting

- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities for UPS, electrical, and HVAC systems

- Prepare and share operational reports, metrics, and performance dashboards

- Ensure adherence to TIA-942, Uptime Institute, and Data Centre best practices

Required Skills





- Robust understanding of Data Centre passive infrastructure

- Cooling, containment, electrical power, air purification, and firefighting systems

- Structured cabling and labeling standards

- Rack mounting of servers, storage, and network devices

- Vendor management and coordination

- DCIM tools and operational monitoring

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Technical Exposure

- LAN/WAN technologies

- Basic knowledge of Red Hat Linux, Solaris, Windows

- SAN/NAS storage concepts

- TCP/IP networking fundamentals

- Active Directory and MS Exchange basics

- MS Visio, MS Project, DCIM, and MS Office

Preferred Certifications

- ITIL

- CDCP
