Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern cloud data platforms, data architecture, ETL processes, and big data technologies. Experience with either Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud ecosystem is required.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement enterprise-scale data architecture solutions aligned with business and technology goals.
- Develop scalable data lakes, data warehouses, and contemporary data platforms.
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and integration frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to define data strategies and architecture standards.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across data platforms.
- Optimize data models and processing pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives for data platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams on best practices.

Required Skills
- 9–20 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related roles.




- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) .
- Experience with cloud-native services such as:
- Azure: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Databricks.
- AWS: AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, AWS Lambda, Athena.
- Strong expertise in Databricks .
- Hands-on experience with PySpark and Python .
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT design and implementation.
- Experience designing and implementing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses .
- Strong understanding of data modelling concepts (dimensional and relational).
- Experience with SQL and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and best practices.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with real-time or streaming data architectures.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Cloud certifications (Azure or AWS) are an added advantage.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
