Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore for a Data Architect / Lead Data Engineer. The role involves designing and maintaining modern data architectures that support analytics, AI, and enterprise information needs, including data models, pipelines, and warehousing solutions. The person in this position will lead end-to-end data engineering initiatives, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, optimization, and documentation.

Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data standards, implement data governance practices, and ensure data quality and reliability across systems.



The role also includes mentoring data engineers, evaluating new tools and technologies, and contributing to architecture-led transformation and modernization projects. Qualifications

Strong skills in Data Architecture and Data Modeling to design scalable, robust, and well-structured data solutions.

Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing to build and maintain efficient data pipelines and storage layers.

Practical knowledge of Data Governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, compliance, and standardized data practices.

Proficiency with contemporary data engineering tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python or similar language, cloud data services such as AWS/Azure/GCP, distributed data processing frameworks).

Experience leading technical teams, reviewing designs and code, and setting best practices for data engineering and architecture.

Ability to work on-site in Indore, collaborate with stakeholders, and communicate complex data concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Background in AI, analytics, or knowledge graph projects is a plus, along with familiarity with enterprise architecture principles.
